Just thought I would let you know about a new web site I originally set up specifically for people in our community, however, the info. is pretty much appropriate for anyone. It is somewhat of a resource and info. site for emergency planning and preparedness. Check it out at www.emprep26.com

I recently heard about the book called "The Unthinkable" by Amanda Ripley.
It is a very good book about disaster survivors and WHY they survived. It is more into the psychological aspect of survivors and not really a "how to" put a kit together, however, it really points out the mindset of survivors.. I just finished it and highly recommend it as a "must read". THE UNTHINKABLE...BOOK LINK
